That house is probably a cow shelter now or been mowed down by the recent tornadoes in the area. No, the quality of home building now doesn't even compare with the quality of days past.judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070661448170951709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8940121115187450723.post-52863127986620376012010-05-29T04:19:17.592-07:002010-05-29T04:19:17.592-07:00Thank you for your comments Jomamma! I bought a small one for my linen closet door and I love it over and over again. Horsehair??!! I think the plans could be ordered from Sears and Roebuck. I set to strip the cabinets and began working on the inside where I found old wallpaper in a cabbage rose pattern, the wallpaper was covering old newspaper. judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070661448170951709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8940121115187450723.post-81675673482960650282010-05-12T15:37:06.585-07:002010-05-12T15:37:06.585-07:00Emily, I love your blog! I found a lot of old newspapers used in the walls of my kitchen as insulation. Most were from 1918.

Thanks again for posting on my blog about Denholms.
ChrisDenholmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02654847550988498891noreply@blogger.com
